January 12, 2021 (Shanghai, China) Global Sources is launching the first-ever Consumer Technology & Innovation Show (CTIS) at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre this June 9 to 11, 2021 under the guidance of the China Association for the Promotion of Industrial Development (CAPID). Co-organized by the China Electronics Chamber of Commerce (CECC) and Zhongguancun Overseas Science Park, and supported by the China Audio Industry Association (CAIA) and Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association (TEEMA), the brand-new event is set to be one of the most prestigious annual consumer technology exhibitions in the world, bringing the entire tech ecosystem together to build brands, drive innovation and accelerate development of the consumer technology industry.

       Taking publicity, inspiration and networking as its core values, CTIS features three co-located shows: the Global Technology & Innovations Show (GTIS), the Global Electronics Show (GES) and the Global Startup Launchpad (GSL), which focus on the complementary themes of technology, trade, and innovation respectively.

       More than 50 percent of booths have been sold since the CTIS project was officially launched in August 2020.
