2021 Consumer Technology & Innovation Show opens pre-registration
January 12, 2021 (Shanghai, China) Global Sources is launching the first-ever Consumer Technology & Innovation Show (CTIS) at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre this June 9 to 11, 2021 under the guidance of the China Association for the Promotion of Industrial Development (CAPID). Co-organized by the China Electronics Chamber of Commerce (CECC) and Zhongguancun Overseas Science Park, and supported by the China Audio Industry Association (CAIA) and Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association (TEEMA), the brand-new event is set to be one of the most prestigious annual consumer technology exhibitions in the world, bringing the entire tech ecosystem together to build brands, drive innovation and accelerate development of the consumer technology industry.
Taking publicity, inspiration and networking as its core values, CTIS features three co-located shows: the Global Technology & Innovations Show (GTIS), the Global Electronics Show (GES) and the Global Startup Launchpad (GSL), which focus on the complementary themes of technology, trade, and innovation respectively.

The first CTIS will feature the latest consumer technologies and a series of exciting on-site events and activities such as the Best of CTIS Innovation Award ceremony, Hidden Champion Award ceremony, Startup Pitch Competition as well as the CTIS Technology & Innovation Conference, which consists of four themed summits and eight industry forums. the Best of CTIS Innovation Award ceremony, Hidden Champion Award ceremony, and Startup Pitch Competition.

The show is expected to attract 80,000 visitors and will feature 3,000 booths in an exhibition area of 60,000sqm showcasing the latest collection of consumer electronics, mobile electronics, smart living, smart home, security products, home appliances, e-sports and entertainment, health and personal care products, and innovative designs from startups.
More than 50 percent of booths have been sold since the CTIS project was officially launched in August 2020. Exhibitors include industry leaders in the areas of cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence, 3D perception technology, projection display devices, AIoT, and VR such as Tencent Cloud, Orbbec, Formovie, Tuya, and HTC VIVE.
