       October 21, 2020 (Shanghai, China) Global Sources announced that China Association for the Promotion of Industrial Development (CAPID) was going to be the supervising organization of the "Consumer Technology and Innovation Summit" (hereinafter referred to as CTIS). It is hosted by Global Sources and will be held at Shanghai New International Expo Center from June 9 to 11, 2021. CTIS is devoted to creating an influential annual event in the consumer technology field in China.

       China Association for the Promotion of Industrial Development was established on January 12, 2006. Its authority is the National Development and Reform Commission. It is a national joint organization voluntarily composed of institutions (groups) engaged in China's industrial development and industrial policy research at home and abroad and various large enterprises with industry influence in China. China Association for the Promotion of Industrial Development strengthens the relationship between enterprises and government departments, promotes industrial development, and becomes the communication platform and link between industrial policy and industrial development.

       With a total area of 60,000 square meters and 3,000 booths, the exhibition is expected to attract 80,000 visitors.
